Opening an Account

If you have an email address and/or a fax you can open an account today.

Simply call (800) 477-7853 and ask for the Welcoming Committee. We will email you the new account documents required to open an account or, if you have a fax, we can fax you the paperwork as well. We will accept a fax copy with your signatures and a copy of a government-issued photo ID, with the understanding that the originals will be mailed to Global the following business day. Once we receive your fax, we will open your account and follow through with your trading instructions. Then, at the end of the trading day, one of our operations personnel will call, fax or email you with the result of your trade and the amount of money due.

If you are not yet ready to make a trade but would like to activate your account in anticipation of a future trade, you can fill out a New Account Contract and mail it to our office in Carlsbad, CA. This will be held in an interest-bearing account on your behalf until you are ready to take action. Within two weeks of mailing your New Account Contract and check, you will receive a confirmation letter with your new account number. You can then place a trade at your convenience.

In addition to individual and joint accounts, we also offer IRA, Trust, Custodial and other specialty accounts. To open these accounts, additional paperwork may be required.
